Shipper Code List

Synopsis: The purpose of this SOP is to ensure all team members use the correct and most current shipping codes when processing and managing customer orders. This will help maintain consistency, accuracy, and efficiency across shipping operations. Procedure 1. Review and Verify Shipping Code: � When processing or quoting an order, verify the shipping method against the updated shipping code list. � Use only active and approved shipping codes. 2. Using the HCON Code: � Apply HCON to orders that are part of a kit or that the customer has requested to ship together. � Do not release these orders for shipment until all associated items are complete. � Once ready, update the shipping method to the final appropriate shipping code (e.g., UPS Ground, LTL, etc.). 3. Handling Pickups: � Use PCKUP for customer small package pickups. � Use PU for customer freight pickups, and ensure the shipping department provides specs to obtain the customer�s BOL. 4. USPS Shipments: � All USPS shipments must be processed through Endicia using the correct ENDPM or other USPS-specific codes. 5. Quality Check: � Before finalizing an order, confirm that the shipping code is accurate and consistent with the service selected by the customer. 6.
